Customs Clearance at Jeddah Islamic Port
We clear your containers and goods at Jeddah Islamic Port, from the vessel’s arrival until the shipment leaves the port and reaches your warehouse.
Why Do You Need a Customs Broker at Jeddah Port?
Jeddah Islamic Port is one of the Kingdom’s most important ports on the Red Sea, and a large share of the Kingdom’s imports pass through it. Every day your container is held inside the port can mean extra costs such as storage and demurrage charges.
That is why port clearance needs careful follow-up: complete, consistent documents, an accurate customs declaration, and coordination with the shipping line and regulators. That is exactly what we handle for you at Munif Ward Al-Harbi Est.

Steps to Clear a Container at the Port
- Receiving documents: the commercial invoice, bill of lading, packing list, certificate of origin, and any certificates or permits the goods require.
- Delivery order: obtaining the container delivery order from the shipping line or its agent.
- Customs declaration: filing the declaration via the FASAH platform and paying the duties and taxes due.
- Inspection when required: if Customs or a regulator asks to examine the goods, we follow the inspection through to completion.
- Release and exit: once released, the container leaves the port and we can move it straight to your site.
Tips to Speed Up Your Clearance
- Prepare your documents and send them to us before the vessel arrives; the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority encourages filing the customs declaration in advance of the shipment’s arrival.
- Make sure the invoice, bill of lading and packing list match (descriptions, quantities, weights and values).
- If your goods are subject to technical regulations, obtain the conformity certificate and shipment certificate from the SABER platform early.
- Check the correct tariff code for your goods in the Integrated Customs Tariff before shipping.
